Q: Is your school and are your programs right for me?

A: To be honest with you, we don't know if our school is right for you, but neither will you until you come give us a try! There are a number of reasons why you should choose Dragon Within Martial Arts programs over other alternatives. Here is a list of just a few of our traing benefits.

 

Q: What if I want to learn martial arts but I don't want to go to work with bruises the next day?

A: Safety is highly emphasized at our shcool. We try to make our classes accessible for the average person who wants to learn self-defense and get in shape.

 

Q: Can I train in more than one style of martial art at your school?

A: Absolutely! The martial arts we have chosen to teach at the school compliment each other and flow very naturally together. Each style that we teach has something different to offer you.

 

Q: Are your programs suitable for women?

A: Yes! Currently we have several female students training in our program and attend on a regular basis whose reasons range from fitness to self-defense.

 

Q: I would like to get my child involved. At what age can I start them in your program?

A: Our classes are for boys and girls both and are split up into two age groups: 5-7 and 8-12 years old.

 

Q: What kinds of things do you teach the children?

A: Our children's program emphasizes self-discipline, self-confidence, mental alertness as well as goal setting skills. Students are also taught how to effectively defend themselves from kicks, punches, grabs and holds as well as grappling on the ground.

 

Q: Do I need prior martial arts experience?

A: Definitely not. All you need is to show up, be yourself, and be open to learning new things!

 

Q: Am I fit enough?

A: The only way to answer this question is to simply come in and try one of our programs. Everyone's fitness level is different, so we try to cater our classes towards that. Besides, by coming here it's only
going to get better!

Unlike joining a gym, membership in our school is an excellent way to develop your mind, body and spirit, PLUS our instructors serve as your very own personal trainiers! We will motivate you and work individually with you.

Our classes are like an exercise program with a bonus! You learn to defend yourself while you get in shape. Unlike some aerobic classes, you never feel out of sync, because everyone works at their own pace.

Our workouts relieve stress!

The physical workout provides a distraction from the mental stress
of everyday life. The physical activity strengthens the body while providing
a change of pace mentall. A break from your daily routine can actually
make you more productive at work, at school and at home.

Our training sessions give you confidence!

The confidence building part of our programs is what students appreciate
most. Nothing can take the place of the security in knowing that you
can defencd yourself if you have to.
